Agriculture Drone Application

As of 2026, the Venture Ag Drones fleet has expanded to meet your growing needs. We currently operate three high-capacity agriculture drones:

• One Agras T100: Our high-volume beast, featuring a 26.4-gallon liquid tank.

• Two Agras T50s: Each equipped with 10.5-gallon liquid tanks and 110lb capacity dry spreader tanks for seeding and dry granules.

Scott and Angel are both fully licensed drone pilots, providing the flexibility to work as a powerhouse team from our double-decker trailer, or deploy from a nimble 10ft trailer rig for hard-to-reach locations.

Yes. Drone pesticide application on potatoes removes disease-spreading sprayer ruts and their long-term soil compaction from your fields, all while making your digging season a lot less messy.

We're also following independent studies and anecdotal farm trials that are testing additional benefits including increasing the gap between fungicide application, reducing your overall chemical costs. How? Drone vortex pushes chemical down under the canopy, enhancing total coverage, including the underside of crop leaves.

Drones offer increased precision for applying fungicide on corn. They can fly lower and slower, applying more precise coverage with better penetration down into the crop. By minimizing overspray risk we reduce our environmental impact and keep your neighbors happy.

Drones also offer greater flexibility because they are more agile and can navigate complex terrain and other field limitations where it is unsafe for manned aircrafts to fly. 

Our drones are equipped with specialized seed broadcasting equipment that allows for precise and efficient planting of cover crops. This is particularly beneficial for overseeding cover crops before fall harvests of soybeans and corn.

The USDA and Wisconsin DATCP even have grant programs that pay farmers to implement a cover crop program which protects and promotes a healthier soil environment.

Professional operations in Wisconsin, especially for aquatic vegetation management or wetland restoration, require specialized state licensing and strict regulatory compliance.

Venture Ag Drones is fully DATCP licensed ensuring that every flight over inland lakes, ponds, or marshes meets legal safety and environmental standards. We can also coordinate directly with the Wisconsin DNR to secure necessary NR 107 permits and ensure all activity aligns with state water quality protections.
